Marcos Villasana Jr. displayed power, boxing, and determination, to achieve a well-deserved victory by unanimous decision over Daniel "Diablito" Espinosa in one of the co-main events that Bxstrs presented in Los Cabos, broadcast live by ESPN KnockOut.

Villasana (23-7, 16 KO's) was aggressive, attacking with power shots and even risked staying in at close range, but his plan was to always press and throw as many power shots as possible to be on top of Espinosa (10-4-0, 6 KO's).

After a first round in which Villasana landed powerful combinations, Espinosa went to the canvas in the second. He got up and the fight continued.

In the second half, the fight was intense and highly contested. Villasana and Espinosa connected, hurt each other and continued to trade.

The preparation of both allowed them to finish the fight on their feet and the three judges saw Villasana Jr as the winner.

The youngest of the fighting Chávez dynasty, Omar “Businessman” Chavez (39-8-1, 26 KO's) showed good fighting rhythm, variety in his offense and ring management, to impose a technical knockout against a brave and solid Daniel “Muneco” Vega (16-7-1, 13 KO's), who did not come out to fight for the fifth round.

Chavez stayed patient and managed to hurt Vegas in the first, second and fourth. Vega did not come out for the fifth round, advising his corner that he suffered an injury to his right hand. After the fight, Omar celebrated with his father, the legendary Julio Cesar Chavez.

A very promising prospect from the capital, Yoali Mosqueda (5-0-0, 3 KO's) had a successful 8-round presentation, and picked up a unanimous decision win over experienced Francisco “Charrito” Sanchez (14-11, 11 KO's).

Constantly attacking the body, Mosqueda landed the best shots, and sent "Charito" to the canvas in the sixth and seventh rounds, and in the eighth he went for a knockout, but the courage of his opponent allowed him to finish the fight on his feet.

Israel “Jiga” Gonzalez (29-6-1, 12 KO's) exhibited offensive variety and power, and with an offensive of great rhythm and precision, with punches to the body and shots with both hands, knocked out Julián Yedras in the first round (24-12-0, 13 KO's), who visited the canvas and could not recover.
