Gimnasio Oscar 'Tigre' García, Ensenada - Omar Aguilar showed up at his house and met both goals: he won and convinced the critics.

In a duel of power, Aguilar (16-0, 15 KO's) showed off his offensive repertoire, and his ambition, and ended up knocking out Tijuanense Francisco Javier “Tarasko” Hernández in the third round.

Aguilar pursued his opponent throughout the ring, connected with repeated shots and was the boss in the ring. He knocked down Hernandez in the second round, who nevertheless got up to fight.

However, the insistence, strength and aggressiveness of Aguilar was too much, and the fight came to an end in the third round, causing a lot of excitement among the public, who view Aguilar as a boxer with a lot of potential.

In a great display of offensive, aggressive but slow boxing, Carlos "Chema" Ocampo, scored a lucid victory by technical knockout, when his rival, the Argentine Adolfo "Fofi" Moreschi, could no longer come out to fight for the fifth round.

Ocampo (27-1, 17 KO’s) exhibited great boxing, hitting accurate and powerful punches, especially to the body, and a constant fighting pace, connected more and better and dictated the conditions of the fight.

Moreschi (18-5, 7 KO’s) was brave, but he was overwhelmed.

With the victory, Ocampo aims to land a super welterweight world championship in 2020.

The brother of the main eventer, Rubén "Pollito" Aguilar (9-0, 7 KO's) blasted out Omar Galindo (5-6, 1 KO) in the first round, exhibiting an offensive arsenal that allows him to dream big.
