TORONTO, ON – Alberto Garza is out, and feared Mexican spoiler Eduardo “Lalo” Garcia (18-5, 7 KO’s) is in as NABA Super Bantamweight champion Olivier Lontchi (16-0-1, 6 KO’s) steps into the Casino Rama ring on Friday August 29th to defend his title as part of Rumble at Rama V, headlined by IBF Junior Featherweight champion Steve “The Canadian Kid” Molitor, who puts his title on the line against Ceferino Dario Labarda.

As well, undefeated Polish Olympian, Greg Kielsa (6-0, 3 KO’s) will be in for the stiffest test of his burgeoning professional career on the Rumble at Rama V undercard, when he faces rock-fisted Jerry Butler (7-4, 7 KO’s), in what promises to be a bruising heavyweight battle.

Tickets for Rumble at Rama V are $125, $75, $50 and $25, and are now on-sale in-person at the Casino Rama Box Office, and at all TicketMaster locations, by calling (416) 870-8000, or ordering on-line at www.casinorama.com.  Ticket prices do not include applicable taxes or service charges.

Doors open at 7:00 P.M. First bell is at 8:00 P.M.  The main event will be telecast live at 10:30 pm ET on TSN and TSN HD.

Garcia is no stranger to Canadian boxing fans, or Casino Rama, after nearly stealing the show at the inaugural Rumble in Rama in July of 2007, decimating previously undefeated Montrealer Sebastien Gauthier via fourth round TKO.

“When we get dealt a setback, we don’t just try to just fill in the cracks, we go out and improve on what we originally had, and that’s what we’ve done with Garcia coming in to face Lontchi,” said Allan Tremblay, President of Orion Sports Management.

“Our fans know what Garcia is capable of, and they appreciate the way he goes about his business.

“It should be an excellent fight.”

A victory by Lontchi over the tough-as-nails Garcia would solidify his standing as Molitor’s only domestic rival at 122 lbs., and further ratchet up the demand for an all-Canadian superfight.

But leaving Casino Rama with the belt around his waist will be challenge for Lontchi, to say the least.

Garcia is brimming with confidence after backing up his stoppage victory over Gauthier with a well-deserved majority decision in his last fight, this past February, over undefeated Kenyan Nick Otieno, in Russia.

In fact, Lontchi will be the fourth straight undefeated opponent for Garcia, who dropped a unanimous decision to then WBA Super Flyweight champion Nobou Nashiro, in December of 2006.

Heavyweight Jerry “Big Daddy” Butler comes to Casino Rama with a hard hitting resume of his own, having notched all seven of his professional wins inside the distance, including a first round stoppage of veteran Armando Rodriguez this past May.

Butler hopes to land the biggest scalp of his career when he takes on Greg Kielsa, a 2000 Olympian, and a fighter quickly developing some buzz in the boxing industry as a potential world champion.
