Copenhagen, Denmark - Oliver Meng (11-0) won the vacant WBA Continental super welterweight title in the headliner of Danish Fight Night's show at the Royal Arena with a majority decision over Italian Khalil El Harraz (15-4-1).

After twelve hard fought rounds the judges had it 116-112, 118-111 and 114-114. There were no knockdowns in a fight that went back and forth. Meng, a southpaw, had an advantage in reach but couldn't keep his opponent away for long. A left hook from El Harraz shook the Dane in the eleventh but he returned the favor in the last round in what was a very close fight.

Former IBF female featherweight champion Sarah Mahfoud (13-1) outscored tough Italian Veronica Tosi (4-2) in a fast-paced eight rounder. Mahfoud won on scores of 80-72 twice and 78-74.

Cruiserweight Hamza Hussein (3-0) beat debutant Thorbjorn Boudigaard in an all-Danish matchup on scores of 39-37 on all cards. Hussein, a southpaw, knew too much for his opponent but couldn't finish him in what was a good fight.

It looked a little too easy for former EBU super lightweight Enock Poulsen (13-0) who knocked out Georgian Nika Iudovi (4-7) after 1.23 of the first round. Poulsen hit his opponent with a seemingly not too hard right - and an accidental clash of heads followed and Iudovi went down and out looking dizzy and in pain.

Danish comebacking cruiserweight Tobias Soerig (5-1-1) knocked out Hungarian Tamaz Kozma (6-10-3) at 1.20 of the second. Kozma was down in the first as well in a free swinging affair that could have gone either way. This was the Dane's first fight in five years.

Italian super middleweight Luca Di Loreto (5-1-1) punched too hard for previously undefeated Dane Jacob Porsgaard (6-1) and won a split decision after four. The judges all had it 38-37 but two were in favor of Di Loreto, who floored Porsgaard in the third and shook him in the first.

Heavyweight Mathias Hansen made his pro debut against Italy-based Brazilian Eduardo Sacramento ((1-3) in a messy fight where the referee allowed far too much holding but what little clean work that there was came from the Dane.
