BoxingScene.com has been advised that highly regarded light heavyweight prospect Oleksandr Gvozdyk has been added to the pay-per-view undercard on July 23rd that features the junior welterweight unification between Terence Crawford and Viktor Postol from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Gvozdyk(10-0, 8 KO's) will be facing Tommy Karpency (26-5-1, 15 KO's), who two fights ago was stopped in three rounds by WBC titlist, Adonis Stevenson. Karpency upset Chad Dawson in October of 2014.

This slot was originally reserved for newly crowned WBO super middleweight belt-holder Gilberto Ramirez, who was going to make the first defense of the title he captured from Arthur Abraham in April - but Ramirez suffered a serious right hand injury earlier this week and was pulled out of this date.

Crawford vs. Postol, a 12-round world title unification rumble battle between Top-10 pound for pound gladiators, will determine the lineal king of the exciting 140 pound division.  Promoted by Top Rank®, in association with Tecate and the motion picture "Hands of Stone," the Crawford vs. Postol world championship event will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT.
