Seniesa Estrada will get to continue her victory tour while preparing for the next step in her career.

The reigning WBA strawweight titlist from East Los Angeles will serve as the subject of a three-part documentary, starring in the latest installment of ‘Off The Canvas.’ The behind-the-scene series—which debuts May 16 on Golden Boy Promotions’ Facebook Watch—chronicles the aftermath of 'Superbad' Estrada’s first major title win following her 10-round unanimous decision over long-reigning champion Anabel Ortiz on March 20 in Fort Worth, Texas.

“As a sports and entertainment brand, we’re always looking to develop new ways of appealing to our audiences,” Oscar De La Hoya, chairman and CEO of Golden Boy told BoxingScene.com. “By incorporating post-fight celebrations with family and friends, viewers will be able to get unparalleled access to the lives of our fighters.

“Seniesa Estrada has a unique personality that appeals to a very wide audience, so we’re excited to be able to convey that via our documentary series. Viewers will have an exclusive look at her experiences after her championship victory, including her celebrations with family and friends.”

Golden Boy launched the series last spring, featuring rising lightweight star Ryan Garcia following his 1st round knockout of Francisco Fonseca last Valentine’s Day in Anaheim, California. The intention of the series is to introduce viewers to the post-fight experience of the company’s top athletes rather than limiting itself to pre-fight buildup in terms of coverage beyond the ropes.

The first year of Off The Canvas came with rave reviews and an award to boot. The series was honored with a Gold Telly in 2020 for Best Online Television Production, with the intention of continuing to grow the platform.

Estrada (20-0, 8KOs) was the perfect choice for the latest installment, following her stellar performance live on DAZM from Dickies Arena in Fort Worth. The title haul by undefeated 28-year-old proudly followed the lead of East LA’s own De la Hoya, one of her boxing idols growing up and her promoter since 2018.

“Seniesa Estrada’s popularity increases with each win,” insists De La Hoya. “We’re happy to increase the momentum through this series as she prepares her to become a three-division world champion.

“Every fighter on our stable has a unique personality, and it’s up to us as promoters to convey that in our content. We look forward to showcasing more fighters in the future.”

Part one of the three-part series will premiere Sunday, May 16 at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT. Parts two and three will  premiere at the same listed start time on May 23 and May 30, respectively.
