It's been seven years since multi-division champion, Nonito Donaire (38-5, 24 KO's) competed at bantamweight - but this Saturday in Glasgow, Scotland he returns to this weight class versus WBA 118-pound titlist, Ryan Burnett, in the quarter-finals of the World Boxing Super Series bantamweight tournament.

"He's a tough kid, a bit awkward," said Donaire, who's last bout came back on April 21st against Carl Frampton (a 12-round decision loss) for the WBO interim featherweight title.

"I've talked to him, even before the fight came in. He's very respectful, a very good kid kid. But we're here to get in there and square off."

Based on resumes' there's no doubt that 'the Filipino Flash' is the much more accomplished boxer but Donaire is 35 years old and it's Burnett (19-0, 9 KO's) who in his physical prime at age 26.

"One thing I know is I'm not going to underestimate him, he's a tough guy, he's going to go in there with everything he's got. He's very crafty," said Donaire, who believes that being back at bantamweight, that he is the puncher in this match-up.

"I think so, I think I'm back to being the devastating guy. I've always been devastating, even at '26, they fear my power," said Donaire, who to this day still has a lethal left hook.

"This is two divisions down and I know that I just have that punch in this division. I just have the scary punch and you just got to watch and see how it really plays out."
