IBO cruiserweight world champion Kevin Lerena stopped Sefen Seferi in three rounds at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park, South Africa on Saturday night.

Lerena controlled the entire contest, with Seferi not doing much of anything on the contest.

During the third round, Lerena (24-1, 11 KOs) landed a left hand that sent Seferi down. The referee would initiate a count and then waved off the contest as Seferi (23-3-1, 21 KOs) appeared to be uninterested in fighting any further.

Danish super lightweight Enoch Poulsen (11-0) is sidelined with a knee injury and won´t be fighting for the rest of 2019. Poulsen is also mandatory challenger for EBU champ Sandor Martin, who now will be making a voluntary defence of the title in November or December.

Danish Fight Night returns October 12 in Hillerod with female featherweight Sarah Mahafoud (8-0) headlining a pro-am show in her hometown and she takes on Enerolisa De Leon in a tuneup for her upcoming world title fight later this year.

Contracts are signed for Mahfoud vs IBF queen Brenda Karen Carabajal (16-4-1) but date has not yet been announced.

Also on the Hillerod bill are cruiserweight Ditlev Rossing (12-0) and super welterweight Oliver Meng (6-0).

Heavyweight Petar Milas (15-0) takes on South African Johnny Muller (21-8-2) on the undercard to the Nick Hannig-Ryno Liebenberg fight October 26 in Berlin.  Muller have a number of names on his record including Oleksandr Usyk but they are all at cruiser. The show is promoted by Petko´s Box Promotion.

Ashley Theophane (47-8-1) is still to fight in Gilleleje (Denmark) on October 5 but it won´t be against Danish-Austrian Kim Poulsen (28-5), who pulled out as he couldn´t make the contracted weight due to his work schedule. Another opponent will be announced soon.

Topping this Q Boxing Promotion show is super lightweight prospect Oliver Mollenberg (4-0) who is in against Jaouad Belmehdi (7-0-2) in a WBO Youth title fight.

Italian super bantamweight Luca Rigoldi (22-1-1) retained the EBU title with a wide unanimous points win over Ukrainian challenger Oleksandr Yegorov (20-2-1) in Schio last night (Sep 20). Rigoldi, in his second defence in his second reign as champion,  won on scores of 120-110 twice and 117-111 on this Loreni Boxe promotion.

Polish light heavies Pawel Stepien (12-0-1) and Marek Matya (16-1-2) clash on October 26 in Sosnowiec.. It´s a rematch and the two fought to a draw last time around but most observers had Stepien winning.

In the chief support on this Knockout Promotions show, heavyweight Artur Szpilka (22-4) has his first fight since losing to Dereck Chisora and takes on Italian veteran Fabio Tuiach (29-6).
