The way things look now unbeaten cruiserweights Fabio Turchi, 15-0 and Tervel Pulev 11-0, will clash for the vacant EU title sometime during the fall.

The EBU have set down the date of August 9 as the deadline for purse bids or agreements.

Turchi as been co-challenger since last year when Alexandru Jur was champion and as it was Jur relinquished the title and since then Micki Nielsen and Luke Watkins have been co-challengers but pulled out for various reasons.

Next up for WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF and IBO female welterweight champ Cecilia Braekhus is a spot on the Golovkin-Canelo showdown on September 15 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, reports NTB.

Braekhus also says she would like to spend more time with trainer Jonathon Banks, who resides in Detroit but is not willing to make the move to the United States as she has friends and family in Bergen, Norway.

It´s official: super middleweights Vincent Feigenbutz and Toni Kraft clash in the headliner of a Sauerland Event show on September 15 in Friedrichshafen. There will be a title or two at stake in this all-German matchup but which titles are up for grabs in not clear yet. Kraft holds the IBF Euro title while Feigenbutz holds the IBF and GBU Intercontinental titles.

38-year old former WBO super middleweight champ Arthur Abraham will not retire - and sport1.de reports Abraham will fight in October. Abraham´s goal is to become champ once again and retire.

"King" Arthur, 47-6, beat Patrick Nielsen, 29-3, last time out but it was a close call and a rematch might be in the works - at least Nielsen is hoping for it.
