British cruiserweight prospect Mikael Lawal (6-0, 4 KOs) continues his rise up the professional ranks on Saturday, July 14 at the Baden Arena in Offenburg when he meets Istvan Kun (7-10-1, 4 KOs) on the Zeuge-Fielding undercard.

Lawal, now 6-0, has made a promising start to his paid career. Fighting out of Stonebridge Boxing Club, the 23 year-old from Shepherd's Bush returns following a fifth-round TKO win over Adam Williams at the Manchester Arena.

“I’m looking forward to getting back in the ring and fighting on a big show in Germany,” says Lawal. “It will be a good opportunity to build my experience and grow my profile boxing on another big card.

“Istvan Kun is a good opponent. He is the type of fighter who likes to come forward but once he feels my power he might want to start taking a step back.”

Prior to his seventh professional contest, Lawal has been in Kiev sparring WBC and WBO World Cruiserweight Champion Oleksandr Usyk as he prepares for his World Boxing Super Series unification showdown with IBF and WBA Super Champion Murat Gassiev.

“Sparring with Usyk has been a great experience,” he says. “It's given me something to look forward to and made me want to train even harder because one day I want to be in his position. I want to be in the mix with the top guys in the division. At the moment, I’m just trying to gain experience and learn the game, but one day, I’ll be coming for those belts.”

Lawal fights on the undercard of Tyron Zeuge’s WBA World Super Middleweight title defence against Rocky Fielding, which also features hotly tipped British super middleweight Zach Parker and top German talents Leon Bunn and Denis Radovan.

Zeuge vs. Fielding will be shown live and exclusive on Sport1 in Germany and Sky Sports in the UK. Tickets are available via www.eventim.de or by calling +49 (0)1806-533933.

Flyweight Edwin Reyes looks to capture his first belt when he faces Jesus Soler for the UBF All-Americas 112 pound championship Saturday, July 28 at Limelight in Nashville, TN.

A crowd favorite in the Music City, Reyes never fails to entertain

Born in Guatemala and fighting out of Nashville, Reyes is 8-3-2 with 5 wins by KO. He is well-known for having an action-packed style, throwing more than 100 punches per round. His sensational brawls led to many that have seen him refer to Reyes as the world’s most exciting fighter. In his most recent bout, Reyes outpunched 50-plus fight veteran Armando Vazquez en route to an entertaining ten round decision.

Representing the boxing-crazed island of Puerto Rico, Jesus “Chiquito” Soler has an excellent 9-1 professional ledger and 5 victories by KO. In 2013 Soler scored a career best victory by defeating 6-0 Emanuel Ramirez. Fighting outside of Puerto Rico for the first time against Reyes, Soler is riding a five fight win streak.

The Reyes-Soler UBF championship bout is scheduled for eight rounds.

“Reyes-Soler is going to be one heck of a fight,” said Matt Young of Tri-Star Boxing Promotions. “Everybody in the Music City knows that Edwin makes incredible fights and he’s facing a guy in Jesus Soler that also wants to overwhelm his opponent with activity. This is a tough fight for Edwin and may the best man win.”

In the co-featured bout of the evening, talented super middleweight Maidel “Cuba” Sando looks to run his record to 5-0 when he faces Rashad Scott, 3-1 (1 KO) of Ohio in a six round contest. Born in Cuba and raised in Tennessee, Sando’s a talented fighter with good punching power and his team believes he’ll be ready for a significant fight within the next 12 months.

The card has a total of ten fights including local favorites Eduardo Aguilar (3-0), Eric Draper (8-10-1), Dedrick Bell 20-30-1), Demarius “Chuckie” Driver (4-0) and Roger Hilley (4-0) in separate bouts.

“I’d like to thank the Limelight for helping make this exciting fight night a reality,” said Young. “The fans in the Nashville area have been incredibly supportive of the local fighters and the sport of boxing as a whole. I look forward to seeing everybody on the 28th.”

Doors open at 6 pm and all ticket holders must be 18 year or older. Limelight is located at 201 Woodland St in Nashville.

After successfully holding the first legal, regulated and sanctioned bare knuckle event in the United States since 1889 last month, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) is set to return Saturday, August 25 with "BKFC 2: A New Era" from the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi and live on pay-per-view.

After the inaugural June 2 event was held in Cheyenne, Wyoming, this edition of BKFC will be held under the auspices and control of the Mississippi Athletic Commission, headed by Chairman Jon Lewis.

"With the overwhelming success of BKFC 1 in June, I know that the stakes are even higher for our second event," said BKFC Founder and President David Feldman. "We feel confident that 'BKFC 2: A New Era' will build upon what we've already accomplished and raise the bar with our fights and fighters."

Tickets are available now exclusively at www.bareknuckle.tv ranging from $35 to $250. "BKFC 2: A New Era" will be broadcast across the United States and Canada, exclusively on pay-per-view through MultiVision Media, Inc., on all major television and streaming distribution outlets for $29.95.

The stacked night of fights will see the return of UFC veteran, and newly-crowned "Queen of Bare Knuckle" Bec Rawlings, who will face professional boxer Britain Hart. The action will also include the semi-final round of the BKFC heavyweight tournament, with Sam Shewmaker taking on Maurice Jackson and Arnold Adams facing Joey Beltran.

A veteran of both the UFC and Bellator, Beltran won the heavyweight tournament alternate bout at BKFC 1 when he defeated Tony Lopez in what was widely considered the "fight of the night" by both fans and media. Beltran replaces former UFC Heavyweight Champion Ricco Rodriguez, who has withdrawn from the heavyweight tournament due to injury, but will return on a future BKFC card.

Lopez has earned a place on BKFC 2 after his outstanding fight against Beltran and will now face 16-fight Muay Thai fighting veteran Jimmy Jennette.

Set to make their BKFC debuts on this loaded night of fights are Chris Lytle, who has a combined 44 victories as a professional MMA fighter and boxer, and Charles Bennett, who has had 70 professional MMA fights. Lytle spent eight years fighting in the UFC, and Bennett spent five in Pride FC.
