Nestor Bravo and Will Madera are set to headline the second edition of Most Valuable Promotions’ MVProspects series.

Both boxers made weight for their scheduled ten-round regional junior welterweight title fight, which headlines a DAZN show Friday evening from Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Bravo checked in right at 140 pounds for his first DAZN-aired main event.

Madera was 139.9 pounds after briefly removing his underwear to hit the mark. He initially weighed in just over the 140-pound limit but was able to come correct without having to leave the stage.

Bravo is unbeaten but hopes to return to the win column after coming up empty in his previous outing at this location. The 29-year-old prospect from Arecibo, Puerto Rico was forced to settle for a No-Contest in his February 25 bout versus Jair Valtierra, after a clash of heads left him bleeding profusely just outside his right eye to force the end of the bout at 1:55 of round four. No decision was returned since the fight did not go beyond the fourth round.

Madera represents a stern test for the rising prospect. The Albany, New York native is just 2-2-1 in his last five starts, though it included a ten-round defeat to unbeaten Brandun Lee whom he dropped in the third round of their Showtime-televised bout last August 20 in Hollywood, Florida.
