Joshua Greer Jr. and Jason Moloney were supposed to meet in an important bantamweight bout April 25, but they’ve temporarily taken divergent paths.

According to an ESPN.com story Saturday, those 118-pound contenders will face different opponents in upcoming bouts ESPN will televise beginning June 9 from MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Altogether, ESPN.com revealed six main events or co-features Saturday that weren’t previously reported by BoxingScene.com or other outlets.

Chicago’s Greer (22-1-1, 12 KOs) is scheduled to face the Philippines’ Mike Plania (23-1, 12 KOs) in ESPN’s main event June 16. In the co-feature of that Tuesday night show, Giovani Santillan (25-0, 15 KOs), a welterweight prospect from San Diego, will square off against Antonio DeMarco (33-8-1, 24 KOs), a former WBC lightweight champion.

Australia’s Moloney (20-1, 17 KOs) will compete on an ESPN/Top Rank card in June or July, but his opponent hasn’t been announced yet.

Moloney’s twin brother, Andrew Moloney (21-0, 14 KOs), will headline an ESPN/Top Rank show June 23, when he’ll battle San Antonio’s Joshua Franco (16-1-2, 8 KOs) in a 12-round fight for Moloney’s WBA secondary super flyweight title. Puerto Rico’s Christopher Diaz (25-2, 16 KOs) and Jason Sanchez (15-1, 8 KOs), of Albuquerque, New Mexico, are set to meet in the co-feature of the June 23 card, a 10-round junior lightweight bout.

ESPN.com also reported Saturday that WBO junior featherweight champion Emanuel Navarrete (31-1, 27 KOs) will headline ESPN’s June 20 show from TV Azteca Studios in Mexico City. Mexico’s Navarrete (31-1, 27 KOs) will face seemingly overmatched compatriot Uriel Lopez (13-13-1, 6 KOs) in a 10-round, non-title fight.

ESPN and Top Rank are expected to announce the full five-fight cards Monday for the June 9, June 11, June 16, June 18, June 23 and June 30 cards in Las Vegas, as well as for the June 20 card in Mexico City.
