French light heavyweight Nadjib Mohammedi (37-5) is as motivated as ever to continue his career despite back to back knockout losses to Sergei ”Krusher” Kovalev and Oleksandr Gvozdyk reports netboxe.com. Next step for Mohammedi is to move down to super middleweight.

Mohammedi also expressed interest in an all French clash for the EBU title now held by Medhi Amar.

The contractual dispute with Mohammedi and estranged manager Christel Aujoux is still not settled.

WBA regular light heavyweight champ and trainer Juergen Braehmer will be assisted by Conny Mittermeier in the training of Tyron Zeuge as he prepares for the showdown against WBA regular super middleweight titleholder Giovanni De Carolis July 16. Mittermeier was last seen training Marco Huck for the fight against Ola Afolabi but was fired with two weeks to go.

Mittermeier have however trained a number of good pros and was with Universum for a number of years.
