“The weigh-in went great, I’ve done my work the best I’ve ever done it and I’m feeling good,” Murray told Sky Sports News HQ. “I’ve had a hard 12-week training camp and I’ve done everything possible and given myself every possible opportunity to win this fight.

“His record speaks for itself, but I’ve not been focusing on that, I’ve just been focusing on winning. I’ve accepted that he punches hard, obviously with his record, and I’ve accepted that I’m going to go through a little bit of pain, well I say a little but maybe a lot. I’ve just accepted it and whatever it takes to win I’ll just get through it.

“To be honest with you, we’ve not just got one specific game plan, he’s not shown many chinks in his armor so we don’t know and we don’t have a lot to work on. But I’ve got a great trainer in Oliver Harrison and we’ve been working on some good tactics that we think are going to work, we’ve got that many different plans, so it just up to me now to go in there and make them work.”
