Former unified Super WBA/IBF cruiserweight champion Murat Gassiev (27-1, 20 KOs) made his long-awaited heavyweight debut, and it was a very short one.

It took Murat just 107 seconds into the first round to completely vaporize Nuri "The Albanian Tyson" Seferi in his first outing in well over two years.

The 43-year old Seferi came in as a late-late sub for his younger brother Sefer, and Kevin Johnson before that. On the other hand, he was stopped just once before (on a rib injury), despite battling some very hard-hitting standouts like Herbie Hide, Krzysztof Glowacki, Marko Huck and Firat Arslan. Tonight it was very quick.

Gassiev landed a pushing left jab to the gloves of Seferi, then added a short left hook followed by a massive right hand, which put the Albanian down instantly. Nuri (41-10, 23 KOs) got up but wobbled a bit, forcing referee Irakly Malazonia to wave it off.

In a one-sided and quite a boring fight, Tanzanian Emmanuel Amos (15-4-1, 8 KOs) was dancing away for ten consecutive rounds from Russia-based Armenian Edgar Gukasyan (8-2, 3 KOs). Amos rarely engaged into exchanges with Gukasyan, but the latter was unable to force him to do so, despite stalking the African fighter for the entire fight. The Armenian boxer lacked lateral movement and finesse to clip Amos really hard. The latter was backpedalling extensively and was concentrated solely on survival. Final scores were: 100-90, 100-90 and 99-91 - for Edgar Gukasyan.

2016 Russian Olympian Adlan Abdurashidov (5-0, 3 KOs) continued his pro education with yet another convincing victory. The 30-year old Moscow native of the Chechen origin dominated his Tanzanian opponent Idd Pialari (27-5-1, 20 KOs) over ten one-sided rounds to a unanimous decision but was unable to score a knockout. Nevertheless, Abdurashidov clinched a vacant WBO Oriental light welterweight title in process.

30-year old Russian light middleweight Stepan Diyun (2-0-1, 2 KOs) made a short work of the Tanzanian import Kulwa Bushiri (12-5-1, 5 KOs), stopping his African opponent within two rounds.

20-year old Cuban expatriate Yoenis Tellez Silega (2-0, 2 KOs) connected with a hard right hand in round two that put his opponent Andrey Tomaschuk (3-14-1, 1 KO) down and out. Tomaschuk was stopped just twice before that.

Radmir Abdurakhmanov (2-1) outpointed pro debut Vusal Aliev (0-1) over four rounds.

Young heavyweight gun Arslan Iallyev (11-0, 6 KOs) had some rocky moments but overcame them in style to stop Argentinean journeyman Ariel Esteban Bracamonte (9-6, 5 KOs) in five rounds.

Iallyev, 23, started fast, connecting hard to Bracamonte's head. The Argentinean, 27, weathered the storm and gave back to Iallyev starting from the third round. Iallyev landed more but ate some hard shots too. In the fifth (of scheduled eight), Bracamonte cornered Iallyev but was delivered a very hard overhand right by the Russian. Iallyev sensed his rival was wobbly and landed more punches, putting the guest fighter on his knees and prompting referee Irakly Malazonia to call the end at 0:33 of the fifth.
