Brian "the Beast" Minto (34-4, 21 KOs) will return to his hometown of Butler, Pa. and headline a card at Pullman Park baseball stadium on Saturday, August 14, exactly one year since his last bout at that venue.  He will face Topeka's "Dangerous" Damon Reed (45-13, 32 KOs), who also recently dropped to cruiserweight after a campaign as a small heavyweight.

Last year, after defeating the previoulsy undefeated Donnell Holmes by techical decision after four rounds due to a cut over Minto's eye, Minto was stopped in December by heavyweight contender Chris Arreola in Atlantic City's Boardwall Hall, in one of the few entertaining recent heavyweight slugfests.  He then presented a game challenge this May to WBO cruiserweight champ Marco Huck in the champ's native Germany, but the bout was stopped in the ninth round after Minto went down for a third time.

Reed, who has spent his career bouncing between the cruiserweight 200 pound limit and the heavyweight division, has faced several former titlists and contenders during his 15 year career, including Dale Brown, Kali Meehan, Monte Barrett and Herbie Hide.

In addition to the minor league ballpark's capacity of over 3,000, the card can be viewed at www.NESportsTV.com/Brian-Minto for $10.00.
