Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson was impressed with the boxing abilities of Youtube star Logan Paul, who last Sunday went the full eight round distance in an exhibition fight with five division world champion Floyd Mayweather.

Tyson believes Mayweather, 44-years-old and retired since 2017, made a big mistake by facing a 26-year-old opponent with a significant size advantage. Paul is six inches taller and entered the ring with at least a 40-pound weight advantage.

On the undercard of the Showtime pay-per-view event, former two division champion Badou Jack returned to the ring and knocked out late replacement Dervin Colina.

In the opinion of Tyson, he believes the event was the perfect stage to set up a cruiserweight fight between Paul and Jack.

"I'm trying to get Logan Paul to fight Badou Jack. I wanna see what he says about that," Tyson told former champion Zab Judah during an Instagram Live interview.

Judah agreed that a Paul vs. Jack encounter would be widely accepted as a legitimate fight.

"Yeah, that's a real fight now. He fights Badou Jack, Logan Paul is gonna be in a big fight," Judah said.

"That's a whole different fight. You fight that guy, Badou is gonna give you a fight. Badou coming to fight."

Jack (24-3-3, 30 KOs), who turns 38 later this year, is a former world champion at super middleweight and light heavyweight.

After last weekend's fight, Jack expressed his interest in moving up to cruiserweight to pursue another world title.

Paul made his pro debut in 2019, with a controversial six round split decision loss to Youtube rival KSI.

It's very unlikely that Paul would take big risk in facing someone like Jack, because there wouldn't be a tremendous amount of money involved in such a fight.
