Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson would like to have at least two exhibition fights this year - against Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis.

Tyson was upset, by way of an eleventh round stoppage, in his first bout with Holyfield in 1996. In their 1997 rematch, Tyson was disqualified in the third round after he bit off a piece of Holyfield's ear.

In 2008, Tyson was stopped in eight rounds by Lewis.

The fights against Holyfield and Lewis were three of the most lucrative pay-per-view events in combat sports history.

Tyson, who retired from boxing in 2005 after suffering a stoppage loss to journeyman Kevin McBride, made his return to the ring in November - when he faced Roy Jones in an eight round exhibition fight.

The contest, which ended in a controversial draw, generated 1.6 million purchases on pay-per-view.

Tyson would like to face Holyfield in a trilogy fight, under exhibition rules - although the two sides have yet to reach an agreement on the financial terms. And, Tyson would like to have a rematch with Lewis - also under exhibition rules.

Tyson believes the two fights would create a tremendous amount of interest and generate a lot of business on pay-per-view.

“I want Holyfield and I want Lennox Lewis this year,” Tyson said on his Hotboxing podcast.

“I want both of them, I think I can get em both this year ... else if I box an exhibition with Tyson Fury. If I do that — even if I can get those two guys, I’ll say this is a wrap, I can go and live my life. And that’s just exhibitions. I’m going to break all my true records with exhibitions.”
