Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson reportedly punched a man aboard an airplane Wednesday night, TMZ reported Thursday.

According to TMZ, Tyson allegedly punched a man repeatedly after the guy apparently annoyed him.

A video posted by the outlet showed Tyson repeatedly striking a man sitting behind him.

The incident occurred around 10:30PM PT as Tyson was scheduled to fly out of San Francisco International Airport to Florida.

A witness told TMZ that Tyson took a selfie with the individual and was patient with the "overly excited" passenger, who attempted to talk with Tyson as he sat behind him.

Tyson, 55-years-old, eventually became fed up with the man behind him talking in his ear. Tyson repeatedly told the guy to calm down. When the guy continued to speak to Tyson, the retired boxer had enough and began throwing several punches.

Tyson walked off the plane in the aftermath of the incident.

The passenger, who was bloodied in photos posted by TMZ, received medical attention and went to the police to address the confrontation. More than likely, the man will hire legal counsel to pursue a lawsuit for injuries.
