Suffering his first loss in his last 14 trips to the ring, Miguel Vazquez is eager for revenge to regain his the lightweight title of the International Boxing Federation. Vazquez's manager Al Haymon has promised him a rematch against the man who took his title last Saturday night, Mickey Bey.

Vazquez lost by split decision (115-113, 119-109 and 113-115) to the amazement of many who saw the Mexican champion retain his belt and everyone was shocked by the horrendous scorecard of 119-109 in favor of Bey by judge Robert Hoyle.

"I honestly do not think I should change my style, but my mentality. There were a number of controversies regarding my role, regarding the promotion, that made me fall mentally. There was talk that [Bey] was sure that if we went to cards, he would win," Miguel said.
