Mexico's Miguel Vazquez (34-4, 13KOs) is disputing the outcome of last Saturday's split decision loss to Mickey Bey (21-1-1, 10KOs), who captured the IBF lightweight title with the victory. Their fight took place on the Floyd Mayweather-Marcos Maidana undercard from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Two of the judges had it close. One scored it 115-113 for Bey, with the second having 115-113 for Vazquez. But the third judge placed in a score which everyone, other than Bey, disagreed with. Judge Robert Hoyle submitted a card of 119-109, scoring nearly every single round for Bey.

With the victory, Bey sees himself as the number one boxer at 135-pounds.

"I'm number one in the lightweight division. He was number one and now it's me. I'm not surprised that I won, I'm just really happy. He was headbutting and holding the whole fight. I won every round and I beat him with one hand [Bey hurt right hand]. I told my team that I wasn't going to let this one slip and now I'm number one in the division," Bey said.
