Argentina warrior girl "La Princesita" Micaela Milagros Lujan (10-1-1, 3 KO's) made a successful first defense of her IBF super flyweight world title by scoring a wide unanimous decision win over brave Panama challenger Nataly Estefany Delgado (8-4-1, 2 KO’s) on Friday, Nov. 26, at a completely full Estadio José María Gatica in Villa Mercedes, Argentina.

The battle was a showcase of Micaela’s boxing skills over the less-talented challenger who never stopped trying to land her punches.

The veteran referee “El Internacional” Mario González had less work to do as the girls fought clean, as hard as they could, exchanging mostly in the center of the ring without excessive holdings. There were no cuts or knockdowns nor fouls nor point-deductions, just good old fashioned boxing.

At the end, official scores were 99-91 (three times) in favor of the far-superior “Princesita” Lujan, who entered the ring at the top on her gam and her right hand risen in front of her cheering hometown crowd.

After the clash, many fans now wonder how would Lujan do in battle against more-experienced, seasoned WBC champion Lourdes Juárez (33-2, 4 KO’s), the tough Yessica Chávez (32-5-3, 4 KO’s) or “La Bonita” Diana Laura Fernández (24-4-1, 4 KO’s)?

The evening of boxing from the land of Maradona and Messi was live on TyC Sports.
