On November 25th, former champions David “El Monstruo” Benavidez (27-0) and Demetrius “Boo Boo” Andrade (32-0) will battle in one of the more intriguing fights left on the 2023 boxing calendar.

The Premier Boxing Champions on Showtime produced pay-per-view event will take place at the Michelob Ultra Arena at the Mandalay Bay on the Las Vegas strip.

Benavidez is trained by his father Jose Benavidez Sr. and his team also includes strength and conditioning coach Angel “Memo” Heredia and nutritionist Tania Piñero Marquez.

Even though Andrade is unbeaten and a very formidable opponent, Heredia expects a dominant performance from Benavidez.

“Everything is going very well in camp. David is getting stronger and becoming even more durable. We are having a better camp this time than the last camp," Heredia told BoxingScene.com.

“Expect to see a better version of David than last time out. He will be very strong, very durable and definitely more powerful. We are very happy with the way everything is going and we can’t wait to see the results on fight night."

The fight will be the second of the year for both fighters.

Andrade won a unanimous decision over Demond Nicholson in his PBC debut on January 7th in Washington, DC on the Gervonta Davis-Hector Luis Garcia undercard.

Benavidez was last in action on March 25th when he defeated a game Caleb Plant via unanimous decision in an action packed contest in Las Vegas.
