Robeisy Ramirez (4-1) returns to the ring for the 4th time this year on Saturday night when he faces his most experienced opponent to date in Felix Caraballo (13-2-2). This will also be the 26-year-old's first scheduled 8 rounder.  The entire card, which is headlined by former two-division champion Jose Pedraza against Javier Molina, will stream on ESPN+.

Ramirez has won 4 fights in a row since his shocking professional debut split decision loss to Adan Gonzales last August.  His victories have coincided with a move to Las Vegas and his enlistment of world class trainer Ismael Salas.

He isn't formally working with a strength and conditioning coach but Angel "Memo" Heredia has helped him on an on and off basis and has been very impressed by the two-time Olympic gold medal winner.

"I just help him out as friends but he has a lot of potential to become a stronger fighter. He is definitely high up there in boxing. Ismael Salas is doing a great job with him. Right now he is in the early stages of his career and he is using his skills and knowledge to win fights but later on when he gets to 10 and 12 round fights the conditioning will be even more critical," Heredia told BoxingScene.com.

Caraballo should provide a good measuring stick to see where Ramirez is at this stage of his career. The Puerto Rican veteran only has 2 losses, one of which was in his most recent fight against unbeaten former featherweight world champion Shakur Stevenson.

Heredia, whose stable of fighters includes Yordenis Ugas, Rances Barthelemy, Felix Verdejo and several others, said that Ramirez has been a very hard worker for their conditioning sessions. He would like to work with him on a full time basis in the future.

"He was coming to the track workouts.  He works hard.  We are very good friends and I help him the best that I can.  Hopefully for his next camp we can get him into a camp like Ugas, Rances and all those guys who train with me Monday through Saturday. Like I said the times that we have worked together he works good and very hard," said Heredia.

Top Rank Inc. has big plans for Ramirez. If everything goes well on Saturday night the plan is for him to fight one more time before the end of the year.
