Floyd Mayweather Sr., the father and former trainer of WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., is not impressed with IBF/WBA 140-pound Amir Khan. There has been a lot of talk regarding a possible fight between Khan and Mayweather Jr. in the fall of 2012. Floyd Sr. doesn't view Khan as a big problem for his son.

However, there are other issues lingering in the background. Mayweather Sr. believes Khan's stablemate, Manny Pacquiao, is possibly using performance enhancing drugs. Because Khan and Pacquiao are both trained by Freddie Roach, and use Alex Ariza as their strength and conditioning coach, Mayweather Sr. is now questioning Khan's recent string of impressive wins.

"Amir Khan couldn't beat little Floyd on any night. I thought he lost that fight with the guy who knocked out [Victor] Ortiz [talking about Marcos Maidana]. What I want to know is how all of a suddern Amir Khan can take all of those punches [from Maidana]? He used to have a glass jaw and now all of a sudden he can take these big punches. I can tell you for a fact that Amir Khan couldn't whoop my son," Mayweather Sr. said.
