Lucas Matthysse, with the team of Arano Box by his side, is working very hard in Junin, Buenos Aires, Argentina for his next fight, against undefeated Ukrainian Viktor Postol. They will battle for the vacant WBC super lightweight world title on October 3 in Carson, California, United States.

His promoter, Oscar De La Hoya of Golden Boy Promotions, recently traveled to Argentina to visit the fighter and take part in some media events.

Lucas said, among other things, said his plan "is to fight at short range and close the distance."

He added to some laughter -  "That's the plan A"

What if it fails? Would there be a plan B?

"It would be the same thing [fight at short range and cut the distance]," said Lucas. Plan A, B, C; there is no other plan."

Lucas' coach, Luis "Cuty" Barrera, said - "Matthysse will give a great fight. And we are proud to integrate this team. [Junin] is the best place [to train], and we have shown that and will do so again. There is no need to leave the country, to be champion."
