Junior welterweight contender Lucas Matthysse (31-2, 29KOs) is training very hard for his scheduled fight with Ajose Olusegun (30-0, 14KOs) for the interim-WBC championship, taking place on September 8th at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. 

Matthysse is sparring hard at the Arana Box gym in the city of Junín, which is a province in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The Argentine puncher is sparring with Miguel Barrionuevo, Daniel Sanabria, Luis Medina and Martin Coggi - all of those boxers are lefties. Also helping with sparring sessions are Luis "El Potro" Abregu and local welterweight Juan Manuel Bonanni.

The "Matthysse Team" consists of coaches Luis "Cuty" Barrera and Dario Fernandez, trainer Gerardo Pereyra, and doctors Eduardo Leguizamón and Ruben Arano.
