Martin Murray admits his title dreams are in the toilet if he fails to beat Gabe Rosado on Saturday night in Liverpool.

The two veteran fighters will collide in a high stakes fight that tops a Sky Sports card promoted by Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Sport.

Murray has been able to secure four world title shots - against Martin Murray, Gennady Golovkin, Sergio Martinez and Arthur Abraham. He's failed to capture gold in all four attempts and wants to secure at least one more title fight.

Rosado himself has also failed in two world title attempts, against Gennady Golovkin and Peter Quillin. Like Murray, Rosado is also focused and motivated to secure one final world title fight opportunity.

Murray has gone 2-2 in his last four fights. Last year, he was dominated for the majority of his fight with top super middleweight contender George Groves. He bounced back in November with a unanimous decision victory over previously undefeated Nuhu Lawal.

While not trying to downgrade Rosado, Murray says he's the type of fighter that he should beat in order to land another world title fight.

"In terms of world title hopes, then yes," Murray exclusively told Sky Sports in response. "No disrespect, but if I can't beat Rosado then my dreams of winning a world title are over. He's been beaten by all the top boys. He gives it a good go, he puts it all on the line, but he's fallen short."

"I feel like I'm better than two of the world champions [Rosado] has fought, David Lemieux and Peter Quillin. I'm a better fighter than them so if I can't get the same results as them, then my chances of winning a world title are over. All or nothing? There will always be fights there, but in terms of winning a world title, if I lose on Saturday they're over."
