If Julio Cesar Chávez Jr. vs. Sergio Martínez comes off as planned on September 15th at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, there is a very strong possibility that Hernán ‘Tyson‘ Márquez (33-2, 25KOs) and Brian Viloria (31-3, 18KOs) will collide in a flyweight unification on the show. BoxingScene.com was advised that discussions are ongoing.

The biggest obstacle, at the moment, is the World Boxing Association's recent order which directs Marquez to fight his mandatory Juan Carlos Reveco (28-1, 16KOs). Last week it was revealed that Marquez might face Filipino contender Fernando Lumacad in July, but nevertheless the problem with the WBA's mandatory order regarding Reveco has to resolved.
