After three tough battles, Juan Manuel Marquez (53-6, 39KOs) doesn't believe his career rival, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (54-3, 38KOs), is afraid to accept a fourth fight. They faced each other for third time in November at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, with Pacquiao winning a controversial twelve round majority decision. Marquez would like to fight Pacquiao on May 5th, in Mexico or Texas, and feels the fight could actually take place.

"The fight can't happen in Las Vegas. I've won three fights and they didn't give me [the win]. It has to do with money, they won't let me beat him. I hope the fight is made on May 5, for better support [of the event]. I don't think Pacquiao is afraid of me. He is a great fighter. I hope that he, and his people, will accept the contest for the good of boxing," Marquez said.
