Former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez (55-7-1, 40KOs) is not ready to hang up the gloves just yet. Marquez, 40-years-old, is motivated to secure a rematch with WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (31-0, 12KOs). Last month at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Bradley won a close twelve round split decision over Marquez.

Although most experts saw Bradley as the clear winner, Marquez felt he was robbed and wants a rematch to set things straight.

Because Marquez doesn't trust the judges in Las Vegas, he wants to face Bradley at Arena Mexico in Mexico City. Marquez's promoter, Fernando Beltran of Zanfer, is also very interested in making the rematch happen in Mexico.

"Right now I'm resting, taking things slowly because we trained very hard [for Bradley]. I'd love to [fight again in Arena Mexico]. A rematch against Bradley [in that venue] would be phenomenal. That's what I have in mind, that if I fight again with Bradley it would be over here in Mexico. I'm going to [speak with] Bob Arum and Fernando Beltran. I know it was a close decision, but I won. Anyway, I'm happy, life goes on and we'll see what comes in the future," Marquez said.
