Stevie Marquez (15-17-2) 10KO is set to square off with Daniel Calzada (13-16-3) 2KO, January 14th 2017, in Denver, Colorado at the “Glitter Dome Event Center”, located at 3600 Wynkoop St.

The 154 pound bout is scheduled for 6 rounds and will be contested for the Rocky Mountain Boxing Regional Title, in the main event of the night, put on by Airtight Boxing.

Marquez is coming into the bout as one of the hottest fighters in the state, taking home a win in each of his last 6 fights. He also can be looked at as one of the most exciting fighters in the region as well. With 10 of his 15 wins coming by way of knockout, you can rest assured that fireworks will fly and the ticket price will be well worth it when Marquez steps inside the ring.

Calzada comes into the fight with momentum of his own after he put on a dominant performance over Colorado boxing veteran Tyler Pogline, where he won an impressive unanimous decision in October of 2016.

Other bouts to look forward to include Adan Gonzales (2-1-1)2KO vs Arturo Melo (2-1) of Colorado Springs, which should be an explosive and high paced fight to keep an eye on. Brandon Buchanan (8-8-1) will take on LT “Smash” Nelson (1-1). Pablo Gomez carries a three fight win streak with him into the ring, when he takes on Joey Montoya who is trying to stop his streak of losses at three. The women of boxing will also be greatly represented as Amorena Baca makes her professional debut against up and coming talent Patricia Juarez (1-0).

This stacked card looks to be just what the doctor ordered as Colorado boxing and the surrounding region move into 2017.

Tickets range from $30, $40, $50, and $60 dollars and are available for purchase at the following locations.
