Former EU super welterweight champion Marcos Nader (18-1-1) is out of professional boxing and has returned to AIBA and the new style of amateur boxing and is looking to qualify to the 2016 Olympics.

Nader turned pro with Sauerland Event in 2009 and things went relatively well until Marcos ran into Roberto Santos. After a draw and a close win over the strong Spaniard he lost to Italian Emanuela Blandamura and that ended his career with Sauerland.

Nader, who hails from Austria, is the biggest name in European pro boxing to return to the amateur ranks.
