WBA "regular" junior welterweight champion Marcos "El Chino" Maidana is ready for all comers. Maidana would like to return in December, but the struggle to secure an opponent may possibly push his return back to January and he's ready to "fight with anybody." Maidana (31-2, 28 KOs) recently returned to score a knockout victory over Petr Petrov. He wants a December rematch unification with WBC champion Erik Morales, but he'll face his mandatory, Paul McCloskey (23-1, 12KOs), if Morales doesn't come around.

"Maybe [we can do McCloskey] in January. I would have to spend the holidays training. But if it's worth it, we'll make the effort. If Golden Boy does not offer me anything, I will take the option of [fighting] Paul McCloskey. As long as the offer is concrete," Maidana told BoxingScene.com's Carlos Irusta.

"I would love the rematch with Morales, but he wants to fight everyone. He was naming everyone. He said he wanted me, then Khan, with this one and with the other one. I already said that I'm willing to face him in December in a unification. We'll have to see what he wants to do."
