At the Twin River Event Center in Lincoln, Rhode Island, IBO middleweight champion Peter Manfredo Jr. (36-6, 20 KOs) stopped Jhon Berrio (15-8, 11 KOs) after six rounds of action. Manfredo returned to the ring for the first time under the DiBella Entertainment banner. Manfredo has won five in a row since the November 2008 TKO loss to current super middleweight contender Sakio Bika. He is scheduled to return on January 14 in a headline fight on ESPN's Friday Night Fights series.

The co-feature saw undefeated heavyweight prospect Mariusz Wach (23-0, 11 KOs) of Poland continued his unbeaten streak with a four round knockout of Galen Brown (33-15, 20 KOs). Brown went down three times before being knocked out for the full count in the fourth.
