Treasure Island Casino, Las Vegas - Late replacement Bahodir Mamadjonov (13-1, 9KOs) stopped hot Cuban prospect Angelo Santana (14-1, 11KOs) in the ninth round to capture the vacant WBA international lightweight title. Santana was dropped three times in the fight.

Santana started well and scored a flash knockdown in the second round with a hard right jab, but Mamadjonov started outboxing Santana in the third round - and put some big body punches together to drop Santana for he first knockdown in the eight round. At the start of the ninth, Santana was dropped hard with a combination of punches. He beat the count,  but was dropped for a third time and referee Kenny Bayless stopped the fight.

In the ShoBox televised opener, Amir "Young Master" Imam (9-0 8 KOs) made a major statement when he stopped Jeremy Bryan (16-3) at the 2:13 mark of the second round.

Imam's advantage in power and speed was on display early on as he repeatedly beat Bryan to the punch. Imam caught Bryan with a left hook, straight right combination that sent him slumping to the canvas, landing flat on his back to the dight of the crowd at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino. Bryan laid motionless for several moments but appeared ok when he finally rose to his feet.

Marcus Oliveira (25-0-1, 20KOs) took one step closer to the WBA light heavyweight title by defeating previously undefeated Ryan Coyne (21-1, 9KOs) via knockout. The stoppage occurred at the 1:15 mark of the 11th round.

Through 8 rounds the fighters traded winning rounds and neither could establish their dominance but Oliveira's advantage in power was evident. Coyne didn't have enough to keep his opponent off of him.

Oliveira got stronger as the fight went on and staggered Coyne in the 10th round. Coyne went down early in the 11th but rose to his feet just before the 10 count. He was out on his feet though and dint respond to a flurry of punches prompting referee Jay Nady to stop the fight.

With the win Oliveira becomes the mandatory challenger to Beibut Shumenov's title.

James De La Rosa (21-2) was upset by Marcus Willis (13-3) in their 8 fight. Willis won a majority decision.

Trevor Bryan improved to 7-0 when he defeated Alvaro Morales (6-13-6) via unanimous decision. The scorers were 60-54 59-55 and 58-56.
