Wilder dropped Fury twice in the first encounter, which took place in December of 2018. Fury appeared to be out cold in the twelfth and final round, but he beat the count and finished the fight.

The rematch took place in February 2020. This time around, it was Fury who scored two knockdowns - and stopped Wilder in the seventh round when former co-trainer Mark Breland threw in the towel.

Fury handed Wilder the first defeat of his pro career and walked away with the WBC world title.

A few months ago, the 35-year-old Wilder brought Scott on board as a head trainer.

During his run of early endings, Wilder knocked out Scott in the first round in 2014.

But the two became good friends in the aftermath, with Scott helping Wilder behind the scenes.

Scott is also very familiar with Fury - as the two boxers had sparred in the past.

"I consider Fury a great boxer, Wilder is just greater," Scott said.

As far as the upcoming bout, Scott is backing his man to end things early. He does not expect Fury to make it to the second half of the fight.

“Deontay Wilder’s going to be heavyweight champion of the world for the second time. Tyson Fury will not make it out of five rounds. That’s my prediction for the fight," Scott told 78SPORTSTV.
