On the latest edition of The Boxing Lab (Boxingscene.com's official radio show) WBA interm junior welterweight champion Marcos Maidana spoke about potential rematches with Amir Khan and Erik Morales.  The fighter of Argentinean descent has been on Boxingscene numerous times gunning for a rematch with Amir Khan.  He lost a close decision to the Brit in a battle deemed 2010’s Fight Of the Year by many outlets.

Khan is on record saying that the winner of the Maidana-Robert Guerrero fight and Erik Morales – who faces Lucas Matthysse on September 17 - are front runners to face Khan in December.

Maidana addressed those rumors on Tuesday’s show.

"If (Khan) is a man of his word then he should face me next. I never said that he didn't beat me.  I just want to face him again."

There also were talks of a rematch between between Marcos Maidana and Erik Morales who waged a crowd pleasing war this past April at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.  Maidana said that he doesn't have any problems facing the revitalized Morales again but that he wants to be compensated fairly.

"I never said that I wouldn't fight him (Morales).  I would love to give him a rematch but it depends on the money.  We asked for a certain amount of money and we weren't able to get it.  I would love to fight him again."
