Heavyweight contender Magomed Abdusalamov (17-0, 17KOs) is not happy with his recent performance, a fifth round TKO win over Puerto Rico's Victor Bisbal (21-2). According to Magomed, he fell ill before the fight and that affected his training camp. Magomed will return on April 27th in Argentina as part of the Sergio Martinez-Martin Murray undercard. He faces dangerous Sebastian Ignacio Ceballos (33-7-2, 25KOs).

"About 10 days before the fight, when the last sparring already finished, I felt ill. In the following days it became worse, and I began to tire in training. I had to suspend all of my training, I was told that it was better to do nothing. Then 3-4 days before the fight, it seemed to me that my condition had stabilized, but my training convinced me that I had not yet fully recovered," Magomed said.

If Magomed has his choice among the current contenders out there, he would like to have a showdown with Chris Arreola.

"I love to make spectacular fights. Of all the mentioned boxers, I think [the one to make] the most spectacular [fight] would be Chris Arreola. He, in fact, is like a true warrior and loves to fight. I think he would make the most interesting battle. I would give him a real war, and he would give me a war," Magomed said.
