Undefeated heavyweight contender Magomed Abdusalamov (18-0, 18KOs) is ready for a step-up opponent and says there is no issue with facing either Johnathon Banks (29-2-1, 19KOs) of Chris Arreola (35-3, 30KOs) in the fall. Magomed has already fought twice in 2013, stopping Victor Bisbal in five rounds in March and then destroying Sebastian Ceballas in the first round in April. Magomed's first choice would be Arreola, because of the Mexican boxer's fighting style.

"I would be interesting in facing Banks, but he said that he injured both hands in the fight against [Seth] Mitchell [last month]. Of course, I would like to first meet with Chris Arreola. I like boxers who go out there and fight, who give a good show. Fighters who are going to be running around the ring, I'm not interested. I need a strong opponent, someone who would be interesting to the spectators and the TV networks," Magomed said.
