On Saturday, for the first time in his history, the traditional Luna Park of Buenos Aires will hold two world title fights in the same card.

Omar Narváez, the WBO fly champion, will make the 9th deffense of his belt against of Walberto Ramos, from Colombia. Narváez has a pro record of 22-0-2, 15 KOs; while Ramos is the Latin WBO champion and has a record 11-4-2, 7 KOs. He is ranked number 8 by the WBO.

In the other title bout, female WBA superbantam champion, MARCELA ACUÑA will expose her crown with Paola Esther Herrera, also from Columbiao. Acuña, The Tigress as she is known, is 20-5-2, 12 KOs. Herrera is undefeated in 14 bouts, with 12 wins and 2 draws with 4 KOs.

 

In other bouts, former Olympic representative, Daniel Brizuela, will met José Socaire, lights. And Martin Coggi, son of former world titlist Juan Martin Coggi, will fight Diego Mora. Coggi is undefeated in 8 bouts with 6 KOs.

 

The night will be in the honor of the memory of Nicolino Locche, one of the greatest champions in Argentinian boxing.

 

"I am very proud of this card", says Esteban Livera, promoter and nephew of Tito Lectoure. "Boxing at Luna Park is a very strong tradition and we anticipate a major crowd in the stadium".

 

On Tuesday, the boxers will be introduced during a press conference.
