Mexico City, Mexico - 21-year-old Luis “Zurdito” Rodriguez extended his perfect career start to 11, with all of his fights being won by knockout.

This time around, the hard-punching bantamweight put away a complicated and brave José Martin “Potro” Estrada, in the main event of the show presented by Zanfer at the studios of TV Azteca, which was broadcast by the network.

Rodríguez (11-0, 11 KO's) was aggressive, and landed powerful combinations that put his opponent in serious trouble in the first round.

Estrada (12-3-1, 6 KO's) was brave and withstood the best shots from Zurdito and was also dangerous on the counterattack. In the third round, he switched to a southpaw guard and landed some good combinations, but he was left at the mercy of the powerful shots that were being fired back in return.

At the beginning of the fourth round, Estrada was taken to the ringside doctor to do a medical check-up, because the boxer had bad swelling on the nose, and also during the round he bled profusely from the left eyelid.

The fight was intense and exciting. Rodriguez put "Potro" against the ropes and unloaded with combinations up and down repeatedly.

At the beginning of the fifth round, Estrada only came out to the ring to hug and congratulate Rodriguez, since his corner had determined that he was no longer fit to continue in the fight.
