Multiple sources have advised BoxingScene.com that heavyweight contender Luis "King Kong" Ortiz (31-2) will return to the ring on November 7th against Alexander Flores (18-2-1).  The bout was first announced by BoxingScene.com contributor Francisco Salazar.

The fight will headline a Premier Boxing Champions on FOX card. BoxingScene.com has also been informed that fast rising heavyweight prospect Frank Sanchez (15-0) is also slated to appear on the card in the co-feature bout.

Ortiz last fought in November of last year when he was stopped by former champion Deontay Wilder in 7 rounds in their rematch.  They first met in 2018 when Ortiz was stopped in 10 rounds.  In between those 2 fights he reeled off 3 straight victories.

Both of Alexander's career losses have to former world champions in Joseph Parker and Charles Martin.  He defeated Mario Heredia in November in his last bout.

The Microsoft Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles has served as the venue for all of the Fox cards during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic without fans in attendance.  The venue for Ortiz-Flores has not been decided yet as PBC has started to place fight cards in areas that are allowing a limited number of fans.

The date was originally planned to showcase the return of Andy Ruiz against Chris Arreola.  Ruiz recently stated that his return date has been pushed back to early 2021.
