WBC world bantamweight champion Luis "Pantera" Nery traveled with his team to Tokyo, Japan - as he continues the final stage of his camp for the rematch against former champion Shinsuke "God's Left" Yamanaka - which is scheduled for March 1.

The second match between Nery (25-0, 19 KOs) and Yamanaka (27-1-2, 19 KOs) will take place at the Sumo Stadium in the Kokugikan neighborhood of Tokyo and Aztecadeportes.com will broadcast the match live on Azteca 7, The House of Boxing.

Nery traveled over on Monday with 12 days of anticipation to the rematch, as he wanted to acclimate for the time zone change and finish up his preparation.

Nery captured the belt with knockout in the fourth round on August 15 in Kyoto, Japan over Yamanaka, 35 years old, to capture the title - but then Luis came up positive in a test for a banned substance, which came in connection to his consumption of contaminated meat and the WBC ordered a direct rematch with the Japanese fighter.

Traveling with the WBC champion is coach Ismael Ramírez, nutritionist Marco Pérez, assistant coach Virgilio Maldonado and his promotional representative Guillermo Brito Jr. of Zanfer.
