The interim-super flyweight champion (115 pounds) of the World Boxing Association (WBA), Panama's Luis "El Nica" Concepcion (33-4-0, 24 KO), could make the first defense of his title against undefeated WBA #8 Rex Tso (18-0, 11 KO) of China, in Monaco.

Concepcion's agent, Rogelio Espiño, said an offer was received for a fight with Tso in Monaco.

Given the timeframe, it's unlikely the fight would be part of the big November 7th event in Monaco which is headlined by Ruslan Provodnikov.

"We received an offer for 'El Nica' to defend his title in Monaco against Rex Tso of China. We have not yet given them a response, but we are analyzing the proposal," Espino said.

Tso was last in action in August, when he gained a stoppage win over Brad Hore in seven rounds.

Concepcion started off the year with a hard-fought twelve round decision loss to WBC champion Carlos Cuadras on April 4th. He came back last month with a sensational knockout win over heavily favored David Sanchez to capture the WBA title.

Concepcion already has a tentative date in place for a title defense on December 19th at the Arena Robert Duran in Panama City.
