At the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee, undefeated middleweight prospect Luis "Cuba" Arias had his homecoming with a TKO victory over durable Mexican journeyman Jorge Silva (21-11) in the main event.

In only took Arias three rounds to close the show. He was battering Silva in the third when the fighter's corner threw in the towel, which signaled to the referee to quickly stop the action.

The victory raised Arias' record to a perfect 15-0 with 7 knockouts. In recent years, Silva went the distance with Frankie Gomez, Joshua Clottey, had a war with Alfredo Angulo and fought to a draw with Yoshihiro Kamegai.

After dominating the first two rounds, Arias let his hands go in the third and really did a number on Silva before the Mexican boxer's corner threw in the towel. The fight was stopped 2 minutes 38 seconds.

"I wanted to impose my power right away," Arias said to the Journal Sentinel. "He took some good shots in the beginning. I knew eventually he wouldn't be able to take my punches. I've always been a tremendous body puncher since the amateurs. The body shots, they help a lot."

David Itskowitch, the chief operating officer for Arias' Roc Nation Sports, wants to get the boxer hooked in with one of the major networks. Arias had been previously promoted by Mayweather Promotions before going over to Roc Nation.

"It would be great to bring in HBO or Showtime," Itskowitch said. "I think the last time HBO did a show in Wisconsin was 2000, so it's been awhile since a big-time boxing event was held in Wisconsin."

Arias' trainer, John David Jackson, told the paper that the 25-year-old fighter would be a world champion by 2018.

"Honestly, I do believe that," said Jackson, who at the moment is best known for his work with light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev.
