Thomas & Mack, Las Vegas - Notre Dame graduate Mike Lee (11-0) defeated Paul Harness (4-4-1) via unanimous decision in their light heavyweight bout. The scores were 40-36 on all three scorecards. The fight will be aired on tape delay on the pay-per-view portion of the broadcast.

In a battle of super welterweight prospects,  Willie Nelson (18-1-1) defeated John Jackson (13-0) via unanimous decision. The scores were 96-94 twice and 98-92.

The fight was fought on even terms throughout the first half. The tide began to change in the 7th as Nelson began to time Jackson and counter him at will. Nelson badly wobbled Jackson in the 8th round almost sending him to the canvas. The son of former great Julius Jackson was able to stay on his feet and survive the round but he fought tentatively throughout the duration of the fight.

Veteran Michael Medina (16-3-2) notched an easy victory over James Winchester (15-5) in their junior middleweight fight. Medina simply outclassed Winchester, dropping him in the 2nd and 10th round as he won every round on all 3 judges scorecards. The scores were 80-70 three times.

In the first bout of the evening, Wale "Lucky Boy" Omotoso improved to 23-0 when he defeated Daniel Sostre (11-7-1) via unanimous decision.  The scores were 80-72 and 79-73 twice. Omotoso cruised to an easy victory but was never able to really hurt the sturdy Sostre.
