Argentine fighter Luciano Cuello arrived on the soil of Jalisco with the firm conviction that he will not only win, but win by knocking out his opponent so he can return his country with the world silver belt. After a long journey, Luciano is confident that he will beat the undefeated Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, with whom he will exchange blows for twelve rounds in the super welterweight division this Saturday at Arena VFG.

The expected fight between Alvarez and Cuello, is the main event of a card put together by HG Boxing and Canelo Boxing Promotions on Saturday at 6:00 PM.

"With my coach we studied Canelo a lot. He is a very strong fighter, with a good right hand and also a very damaging good left. So I have prepared thoroughly for a victory that must be defined before the limit," Cuello said.

From Buenos Aires, Luciano comes with Matias Gonzalez, one of his coaches. A little later arrived two more members of his team: Ricado Sanchez Atocha and former world champion Gabriel Campillo, from Madrid.

Luciano could not help but compare the styles of "Canelo" and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., whom he faced last year.

"They are completely different. Canelo is more technical and he is more difficult to hit. While Chavez fight at a short distance and gets hit a lot, but every match is a different story."

For various reasons this will be his first battle in 2010. However, he is a disciplined fighter who never stops training and he also guaranteed a great performance.

Luciano Cuello want to emulate his compatriots Sergio "Maravilla" Martínez, Omar Narvaez and others who have held a world title from Argentina.

"I come from a country where many fighters are born, where there are good schools for boxing. The recent crisis in Argentina had prevented a lot of fighters from being able to devote themselves to training, but now I see that situation resurging, "he concluded.
