According to manager Egis Klimas, it's pretty much set in stone who WBO featherweight titlist, Vasyl Lomachenko will face on the Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather undercard on May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

"We have a guy who is the mandatory for the WBO, the Puerto Rican kid, Gamalier Rodriguez," he stated on Wednesday afternoon. "So basically we can't go anywhere else unless he turns down the fight and I'm hearing he is agreeing to fight Lomachenko.

"So most likely that's what's going to happen."

Rodriguez, who is 28 years old, has a record of 25-2-3 (17 KO's) and has won 17 consecutive bouts. Lomachenko, who won this title against Gary Russell Jr. back in June, made his first defense in November underneath Pacquiao's victory over Chris Algieri in November in Macao. He dominated Chonlantarn Piriyapinyo for a 12-round decision win.
