Struer, Denmark - 46-year old super middleweight veteran Lolenga Mock´s long career most likely came to an end tonight as Argentinian Mateo Damian Veron, 28-21-3, beat him on points over eight.

All cards read 78-74 for Veron who wasn´t very good but had the one thing Mock always have had problems: speed.

Veron moved well and showed a fast dangerous left hook that caught Mock a few times. Lolenga kept coming, kept trying, kept working but he just couldn´t get to his opponent who tied him on the inside and there were lots of wrestling as Mock tried to break free.

Veron was cut around the left eye in the last round and Mock, tired and desperate, kept chasing but it wasn´t enough.

Super welterweight Mikkel Nielsen, 7-0, outscored Bulgarian Angel Emilov, 9-25, over six. Nielsen won every round clearly but could not hurt his opponent at any time. It was scored 60-54 on all cards.  Emilov was cut over the left eye in the fifth.

Dutch female flyweight Alicia Holzken, managed by Dane Peder Forsman, made her prodebut and outscored Bulgarian Ivanka Ivanova, 1-7-1, over four. Holzken won on scores of 40-36 on all cards and dominated the fight. Ivanova was stunned in the last and did well to last the distance.

Super middleweight Haris Dzindo, 8-0, won on a second round disqualification over Georgian visitor Giorgi Gogebashvili in the show opener of Team Sauerland´s and Peder Forsman´s show at the Energi Park Arena.

As for why Mr. Gogebashvli was ousted, well, how about bad shoes? Gogebashvili kept slipping in his worn out shows and while his cornerman tried to put them together the fighter kept slipping and at 2.56 of the second it was stopped. Dzindo dominated the fight while it lasted.
